Just got offered a price for a used (2002) 2910 by a local dealer. She's got 760 hours and what looks like medium-heavy wear (some paint rubbed off, tires fair, etc.) Comes with LA402 loader and a new Land Pride 60" chopper. Hoes does 12,000 sound?
New to the board - all help appreciated.

Start it up, drive it, and listen to it. Check the fluids for discoloration and charring. Ask the dealer for any maintenance information they have. Make sure it clutches properly. You will get hydro whine in high range, but the machine should be quiet in low.
The price seems ok as long as the tractor is mechanically sound and properly maintained. There may be some warranty left on the tractor, depending on whether it was in commercial service or not. Kubota has 1500 hours or 36 months on the powertrain for private use, you may not be able to qualify, but ask the dealer about it. Depends on when it was sold. Warranties may be transferable. ....

Thanks for the information. THe dealer said it was purchsed in APril of '02 and that the warranty was expired. ThHe dealer said he would go through it and make sure all recommended maintenance was done. Sounds like the price is only average and not great.
BTW - I enjoyed your pictures. ....
